Candidacy Building™ is designed for students in grades 8–11. Starting earlier gives students more time to explore interests, build meaningful extracurriculars, and develop a strong academic and leadership profile before applications begin. Once senior year starts, it is too late to change what a student has actually done. This program focuses on shaping those experiences early.

Candidacy Building™ focuses on what students do before senior year, while Application Counseling focuses on how they apply. With Candidacy Building™, students work on academic planning, interest exploration, extracurricular strategy, leadership development, and long-term positioning. Application Counseling begins later and centers on essays, school lists, and submitting applications. Many families choose to do both for full start-to-finish support.

InGenius Prep combines Former Admissions Officers, personalized strategy, and long-term planning. We do not rely on templates or generic advice.
