Q: Can my student meet with their counselor?
Yes! We know how valuable additional one-on-one application support for your student can be. You can select our “add-on service” to add one meeting with your Former Admissions Officer after their Final Review™ has been completed.
Q: Does my student need to be 100% complete with their applications prior to signing up for Final Review™?
No! Your student does not need to be complete with their applications before signing up for Final Review™. However, they must have their applications completed when they submit them to their Former Admissions Officer for Final Review™. *IMPORTANT: The turnaround time to receive their review (12 days for Standard & 72 hours for Rush) will begin the day they submit ALL of their completed applications.
Q: How will my student submit their applications & receive feedback?
Your student will submit their completed Common Application PDF previews and Word document versions of their essays. We will review the entire Common Application, complete a comprehensive feedback report, and also edit all of the essays. In return, you will receive the Final Review report and edited versions of your essays.
Q: What type of feedback will my student receive?
Your student will receive comprehensive feedback on the quality, completeness, uniqueness, competitiveness, and school fit of their applications. We will provide high level feedback on the content, narrative, and structure of your student’s work and in-line edits for more specific suggestions on word choice, grammar, and tone. Your student will also receive fully edited personal statements and supplemental essays.
Q: Can my student ask specific questions to their Former Admissions Officer?
If your student has very specific questions they would like answered by their Former Admissions Officer, we highly recommend that you select our "add-service" to either have one meeting with their Former Admissions Officer or 10 questions answered via email.
Q: Can my student send in one application now and the other two applications later for the 3-School option?
Applications must be submitted all together! We will review all of your applications together before returning your Final Review. For feedback on future applications, you can purchase an additional Final Review.
