8 LIVE Small Group Sessions

You student will work directly with InGenius Prep CEO, Joel Butterly and entrepreneur expert and Cornell graduate, Maya Gobert through 8 LIVE small group sessions over the course of 9 weeks (Intensive) or 15 weeks (Extended).

Professional Support & Expertise 

Your student will receive expert feedback & guidance on their projects with the goal of launching their own venture with quantifiable results and gaining invaluable lessons in entrepreneurship.

Launch Your Venture

During the program, students will create a Project Action Plan detailing their proposed business or organization with tailored advice on how to maximize their results and recognition.

Maya Gobert

Meet Your Instructors:

Maya Gobert, Director of Innovation, Scholar Launch

Maya Gobert is our Director of Student Innovation. Maya attended Cornell
University on a full expenses paid scholarship where she double majored
in Economics and Political Science and graduated with top honors. Maya
has worked across three continents and industries - finance, marketing and educational consulting. Maya has led a team of consultants and worked personally with students across the world (more than 14 countries and counting!), mentoring them in candidacy building and extracurricular pursuits. Her students have gained admission into all the Ivy League colleges and many other Top 20 US universities.

Avi-Yona Israel

Avi-Yona Israel, Instructor, Leadership & Innovation Lab

Avi is certified in management from the Wharton School. Her experience spans a wide range of domains from the humanities to business and marketing to the entertainment industry. She excels at understanding students’ entrepreneurial efforts in their local context, ensuring careful consideration of available resources and circumstances. Avi attended Colgate University and UPenn. During her time in Penn, she taught and tutored high school students for over 200 hours and was the recipient of an Exceptional Pro Bono Service Award. After UPenn, she was a teaching assistant, research assistant, and adjunct professor at American University.

Fitness App Launch

Raised $40,000 to design, build, and launch fitness app. This student hired a
team, worked with graphic designers, and launched a successful fundraising
campaign.

100% Green Coffee Sleeve Business

Developed a new coffee cup sleeve made exclusively from recyclable and
plantable materials (it even had seeds!). With new marketing and business
development skills, he built a website and partnered with local coffee shops.

Young Artist Exhibition & Auction

Worked with artists from 15 high schools across the country to curate 2 online
art exhibits. This student auctioned 100+ art pieces and raised proceeds to
donate to disease relief.

Peer Counseling Program

Created peer counseling platform to help students deal with stress and mental
health issues. This student hired 9 peers, officially registered his company, and
launched a website.

Non-Profit Providing Free Computer Science Learning

Improved existing non-profit — developing curriculum, recruitment, and
marketing techniques to expand his organization’s reach. Now, this student
leads a network of peer instructors who teach free classes to a growing group
of young CS learners.

Youth Civics Education Organization

Recruited 2 peer history fanatics to develop an education and advocacy
organization. Together, they created nonpartisan online content and visited
classrooms to teach students how they can become more civically informed and
engaged.
