Meet Your Workshop Host:
Zak Harris | Former Admissions Officer, Johns Hopkins, Bowdoin, Regis College, and GWU.
I am the former Director of Admissions at Regis College in Weston, MA. I have also worked in the admission offices at Bowdoin College, Johns Hopkins University, and the George Washington University.
My passion for students has always fueled my work with students and their families. The college process is a journey and I enjoy providing guidance and insight for those who are going through it.
Outside of my work in higher education, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and my family, running, and watching sports.
Meet Panelist:
Savvas Papadopoulos | Senior Project Manager, Healthcare at JRM Construction Management
Savvas is a Senior Project Manager at JRM Construction Management, where he oversees healthcare, life science, and higher education projects throughout New York. He graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
A longtime participant in Science Olympiad, Savvas helped launch the Alumni Chapter at Cornell and played a key role in bringing the 2019 tournament to the university, serving as that tournament’s director. In addition to supporting the National Tournament as a volunteer, he remains deeply involved at the state level as the Regional Director for New York City.
