Hello! I'm DJ, a former InGenius Prep Admissions Officer from Boston, Massachusetts. With a BS in Journalism and Political Science from Boston University and an MEd in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, my career began at Bottom Line, a Boston community organization, guiding 65 students annually through college and financial aid applications. My journey led me to MIT as an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director, where I reviewed applications and led multicultural outreach. Passionate about student advocacy, I transitioned to the Boston Public School District, focusing on supporting underrepresented students, including those with disabilities and LGBTQ+ students, and promoting STEAM programs.

Shilpi Agarwal, a passionate data philanthropist and influential pioneer in the realm of tech ethics and data privacy, holds the role of Founder and CEO of the DataEthics4All Foundation. This organization aims to raise the next generation of Ethics 1st Data + AI skilled workforce through their STEAM in AI Program. 

STEAM in AI is a Trade School for Data + AI Ethics where middle, high and college students receive mentor led experiential learning in AI learning how to code, how to build an AI model and how to do computational research to become responsible and ethical AI Technologists.

Shilpi is a former Adjunct Faculty at Stanford, has served as a mentor for the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, is an invite only member of the World Economic Forum’s Responsible Use of Technology Initiative, and an AI Ambassador for the Deeplearning.AI Community founded by Andrew Ng. 

She's a sought out Keynote speaker and influencer on the Ethics of AI, Generative AI and the role of AI in Education for a wide variety of audiences including the U.S. Military and the California Department of Education.
