Hello! I'm DJ, a former InGenius Prep Admissions Officer from Boston, Massachusetts. With a BS in Journalism and Political Science from Boston University and an MEd in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, my career began at Bottom Line, a Boston community organization, guiding 65 students annually through college and financial aid applications. My journey led me to MIT as an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director, where I reviewed applications and led multicultural outreach. Passionate about student advocacy, I transitioned to the Boston Public School District, focusing on supporting underrepresented students, including those with disabilities and LGBTQ+ students, and promoting STEAM programs.
