Chris Brown

Meet Your Host:

Chris Brown, Director of Academic Mentorships

Chris earned a PhD in Latin American History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was a Fulbright postgraduate student. Previously, he completed a BA in History and Hispanic Studies at the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford.

His true passion is tutoring students to ensure their success before, during and after college. He taught for two years with the British Council at the University of Concepción, Chile and at the High School attached to Shanghai Normal University in China. More recently, he taught inter-disciplinary studies courses to undergraduates at Emory University, where he also worked as a tutor in the writing center and at the main research library on campus. As a tutor, he helped dozens of students prepare their essays, applications, and resumes.

At InGenius Prep, Chris is the Director of Academic Mentorships where he manages and oversees countless student research programs with top scholars on a wide variety of student interests in STEM, Art, Business, History and more.
